Robert and Kathleen invite you to come with us to locations around North America and Europe.
- Painting on location with instruction in any medium by Robert.
- The “Art Experience” is not just an instructional painting tour, but rather a total experience!
- Stay in fine accommodation, enjoy good food/wine. Learn from doing and from the (easy on people) discussion/critiques.
All this captured on video by Kathleen, you will receive a tape of your personal experience to keep, both as a memento and a constant teaching aid.

Paint along with Robert Milner in Cumbria’s Lake District, England - Date - July 4th - 18th
Visit exciting places, paint on location with Robert in the medium of your choice.
Our 14 day excursion includes:
- Round trip flight from Toronto to Manchester
- Transportation from airport to accommodation and to daily painting venues
- Accommodation in Bed and Breakfast
- Meals - A boxed lunch will be provided for each of the days out painting. Additional lunches and dinners are not covered. There are at least 30 restaurants within a 3 minute walk from the lodge
- Ten days painting support and tuition by Robert Milner for the amateur to the accomplished artist
- Plus four fun evenings with wine and nibbles, during which friendly critiques and discussions will be held.
Many optional tours are available to be taken, such as, Boat tour of Lake Windermere and the Railway museum. This is the countryside where Beatrix Potter created the children’s books of “Peter Rabbit”. You can visit the author’s home and museum. There are many more attractions and just walking the picturesque streets of the surrounding villages can give enjoyment. Poking around the little village stores and viewing the English country gardens can be a joy to experience.
Personal liability and health insurances are not included.
The current strength of the Canadian Dollar against the British pound makes for more affordable travel to England.
Spouses are welcome at a discount cost, due to no tuition. There will be lots to occupy, or you may wish to join the group to their venue and wander the area.
